Funerals

The Sub-Branch will on request from the deceased family of a returned, ex or a serving member of the armed forces, conduct an RSL funeral service at the grave side or at the crematorium in conjunction with any other service as a mark of respect from the RSL and its members.

Please contact any member of the Executive Committee to arrange for a funeral service.

 

Hospital Visitation

The hospital visitation officer visits people that are in hospital or ill at home to ensure that the welfare of the member is attended to as required. If you know of any member that is in hospital or ill at home and in need please contact the Hospital Visitation Officer, Mr Geoffrey Hatch on 02 4578 1029 or any member of the Executive.

 

Pensions

The Windsor & District RSL Sub-Branch provides three highly trained members for the purposes of assisting eligible members in all aspects of Pension entitlements: applying for a Pension, Pension claims, Pension adjustments and advice on other entitlements.

If you think you may be entitled to some remuneration please do not hesitate to speak to our pension officers. All matters discussed are kept strictly confidential between you and your case worker.

The pension officers are available for assistance at the Sub-Branch office every Tuesday.

Bookings are essential, times available are 10:30am, 11:30am and 12:30pm and can be made in person at the Club reception desk or by calling
4587 6900.

Officer interviews are preferred however under special circumstances the pension officer/s will visit the member at their home or in hospital.

 

Social Activities

Frequent social activities are available to members during the year. These activities include bus trips, river/harbour cruises, nights out to the races, etc. These activities are organised by the Sub-Branch Social Director. Please refer to the events calendar. If you have any suggestions then please do not hesitate to relay your suggestions to the Social Director or a member of the Executive Committee.

The Sub-Branch hosts Golf and Lawn Bowls Days in conjunction with ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day as well as a Christmas Dinner and a Christmas in July luncheon.
